Arrive in Panama City, where you’ll be warmly greeted by our team and transferred to the iconic Hotel La Compania, your home in the heart of Casco Antiguo. Settle into your luxurious accommodations before joining the group for a welcome dinner at the renowned Santa Rita restaurant. Over a beautifully curated meal, you’ll have a chance to connect with fellow travelers, enjoy local flavors, and start your Panama journey together.
Day 1. Arrival and Welcome Dinner

Today, immerse yourself in the charm of Casco Antiguo with a guided walking tour through this UNESCO World Heritage district, famous for its colonial architecture, vibrant plazas, and artistic enclaves. Enjoy lunch at a local gem before an exclusive, privately guided tour of the Panama Canal—a true wonder of engineering that connects the world. Days 3 & 4. Leisure Time in Casco Antiguo

Relax in the elegant surroundings of Hotel La Compania or head out to discover hidden spots recommended by our local hosts. Today, you’ll journey from the historic vibrance of Casco Antiguo to the secluded paradise of Isla Palenque, a private island retreat in the Gulf of Chiriquí. Upon arrival, settle into your beachfront casita and let the tranquility of the island’s natural beauty envelop you. In the evening, join the group for a welcome beach dinner, where you’ll dine under the stars with your feet in the sand, savoring local flavors as the waves lap at the shore.
Day 5. Arrival at Isla Palenque
These days offer a blend of exploration and relaxation. Spend your time however you please, whether it’s kayaking through mangroves, hiking the island’s scenic trails, or simply lunging by the sea. On Day 3 (August 3), we’ll set out for a special catamaran excursion, sailing through the turquoise waters of the Gulf. You’ll stop at a secluded beach where a private lunch awaits, allowing you to unwind and enjoy this pristine setting in total privacy.
Day 6-7. Island Bliss and Catamaran Adventure
As your journey comes to a close, enjoy one final morning to soak up the island’s beauty. Take a last stroll along the beach or enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing Isla Palenque with memories of Panama’s warmth, history, and natural splendor. Our rates include daily breakfast, accommodations, Panama Canal entry fees, private guided tour of Casco Antiguo and Panama Canal, $100 credit to utilize at Hotel La Compania, ground transportation from the international Airport upon arrival and departure transportation to Wilson Airstrip for travel to David. The only extra expenses incurred will be premium cocktails, meals, optional personal purchases, spa services, and gratuities.
Isla Palenque
Our rates include roundtrip domestic airfare to/from Panama City to David, arrival and departure boat transfer, 3 daily meals a-la-carte(breakfast, lunch and dinner), non-alcoholic beverages, elegant luxury beachfront casita accommodations, selection of guided “in-house” island tours (including guided trekking/hiking, whale watching, yoga and nature walk), use of kayaks and paddle boards, complimentary wireless Internet, and laundry service. The only extra expenses incurred will be cocktails, optional personal purchases and spa services, and gratuities.
What’s not included.
Our rates do not include travel insurance as well as extra expenses incurred such as personal purchases, spa services, and gratuities. Each individual is responsible for meal expenses for our welcome dinner at Santa Rita.

International flights will arrive at Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City, Panama. From there, you’ll be met by our team for your transfer to Hotel La Compania in Casco Antiguo. After exploring Panama City, our team will handle the arrangements for your transfer to Isla Palenque. Upon conclusion of your stay, we’ll coordinate your return journey to Panama City for departure.

We recommend packing lightweight, breathable clothing suitable for warm weather, as well as comfortable shoes for walking tours. Don’t forget swimwear, sunscreen, and a hat for beach days and excursions at Isla Palenque. Light evening attire is ideal for dinners, and a light rain jacket is useful for occasional showers. For outdoor adventures, consider water shoes and reusable water bottles to stay hydrated.

In late July and early August, Panama typically experiences warm and tropical weather, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s F (24-30 C). Breif rain showers are common in the afternoons so it’s wise to come prepared with lightweight rain gear. Isla Palenque offers refreshing breezes and the tropical rains often give way to sunshine.
