Each Beachfront Casita is tucked away in palm groves with a private path just 25m (80 ft.) from the island’s largest beach, Playa Palenque. Designed as an indoor-outdoor living space, you’ll relax in your open-air lounge area and bath, with all of the luxuries you’d expect from a comfy, modern hideaway. With only 8 luxury, Beachfront Casitas on it’s 400-acre island, Isla Palenque is exclusive to a privileged few.
The Beachfront Villa Estate is tucked between ancient trees and overlooks the warm waters of Playa Primera. The 6 free-standing Villa Estate suites and rooms are located on the East side of the island, right above Playa Primera beach. The Estate blends with its tropical surroundings, creating an intimate rainforest and oceanfront setting for those wanting to connect to nature. The Beachfront Villa Estate is rented as a whole for groups of 2 to 14 guests, which makes it an excellent choice for large families or friends traveling together.

Seven Beaches at Isla Palenque

From Playa Catalina, set out by kayak and head towards neighbouring Boca Brava at high tide to discover tidepools and mangroves from the open waters.
Whale Watching
Once they’ve been spotted for the first time (usually in August), you’ll likely spot them in the Gulf of Chiriqui until the babies are strong enough to travel North again for the winter (usually in October).
