Acknoledgement of Terms of Service

THIS IS A THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING RELEASE, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”). Please read it carefully before signing/accepting/acknowledging. If you are obtaining a quote for and/or securing or procuring travel for more than just yourself, all references below to “I” (and derivations thereof, including without limitation “my” and “me”) shall be read to mean you on behalf of yourself and each individual within your group for whom you are obtaining a quote and/or securing or procuring travel. TERMS AND CONDITIONS I understand that Eugene Toriko LLC (hereinafter "Eugene Toriko") is not the source or supplier of the travel services I have requested, and acts solely as an agent for the actual suppliers of such services. I have been advised that the suppliers whose names appear in the information supplied to me are those who are actually responsible for providing the travel services I have purchased. I consent to and request the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold Eugene Toriko responsible should any of these suppliers: 1) fail to provide the travel services I have purchased; 2) fail to comply with any applicable law; or 3) engage in any negligent act or omission that causes me any sort of injury, damage, delay or inconvenience. I accept that Eugene Toriko is not responsible for, nor will I attempt to hold it liable for, any injury, damage or loss I may suffer on account of any conditions, actions or omissions that are beyond its reasonable control. Excepting only liability that directly arises from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Eugene Toriko, I will not hold it responsible for any injury, damage or loss I may suffer while on any third party provided or operated excursion or activity. I will review my travel documents for accuracy upon receipt and understand that I may contact Eugene Toriko if I have any questions. I understand that it is my responsibility to review the accuracy of all details in the travel quotations provided to me and to confirm the same to Eugene Toriko. I understand that all reservation fares typically involve restrictions (including, but not limited to, restrictions related to cancellation) and that changing any aspect of my travel arrangements may result in the payment of additional money. I understand that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires me to carry a government issued identification card in order to board a flight. I have been advised that the name, date of birth and gender that appears on the identification card must exactly match the same such data that is listed on my airline ticket and in my booking records. I acknowledge that my failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding or an undue delay at an airport security checkpoint causing me to miss my flight. I understand that if traveling internationally, I must have a valid passport and depending upon my destination and nationality, I may need to obtain one or more visas. Eugene Toriko has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of travel service providers selected for your tour, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, Eugene Toriko recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at 1-888-407-4747 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Eugene Toriko recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at 1-800-232-4636 or www.cdc.gov/travel. I assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of my destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). I understand that I may purchase travel insurance to cover certain risks inherent in travel such as supplier bankruptcy and the inability to travel due to a medical or personal emergency. I agree that, where Eugene Toriko has identified the same in a written communication to me (including via email), certain itinerary planning charges may be imposed. By way of example only, Eugene Toriko typically charges a $499 fee for itinerary design services. If the trip is not booked, or if a booked trip is canceled, the fee would be forfeit and would become compensation to Eugene Toriko for the work associated with the searching, planning and communication activities. Custom itinerary design fees may be charged for multi-destination trips and trips that include coordination of multiple modes of transportation (e.g., flights, trains, ground transfers, etc.). Additional charges will be imposed only if advised in writing (including via email) by Eugene Toriko. The laws of the State of Georgia govern the rights and obligations of the parties to this Agreement and the interpretation, construction and enforceability thereof. I agree that any action or proceeding brought by me against Eugene Toriko shall be brought solely in the courts of Georgia located in Fulton County. In the event any action or proceeding is initiated by me in a court outside of Fulton County, Georgia, I agree to pay Eugene Toriko’s costs and reasonable attorney fees associated with defending such action or proceeding.

International flights will arrive at Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City, Panama. From there, you’ll be met by our team for your transfer to Hotel La Compania in Casco Antiguo. After exploring Panama City, our team will handle the arrangements for your transfer to Isla Palenque. Upon conclusion of your stay, we’ll coordinate your return journey to Panama City for departure.
We recommend packing lightweight, breathable clothing suitable for warm weather, as well as comfortable shoes for walking tours. Don’t forget swimwear, sunscreen, and a hat for beach days and excursions at Isla Palenque. Light evening attire is ideal for dinners, and a light rain jacket is useful for occasional showers. For outdoor adventures, consider water shoes and reusable water bottles to stay hydrated.
In late July and early August, Panama typically experiences warm and tropical weather, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s F (24-30 C). Breif rain showers are common in the afternoons so it’s wise to come prepared with lightweight rain gear. Isla Palenque offers refreshing breezes and the tropical rains often give way to sunshine.

We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical expenses, or lost luggage. Travel insurance is not included in your pacakge.
For U.S. citizens and many other nationalities, a tourist visa is not required for stays under 180 days in Panama. However, a valid passport is necessary, and it must be valid for at least six months from your entry date. Vaccinations are not required for Panama, but we recommend checking with your healthcare provider for the latest travel health advisories.
This trip includes a mix of leisurely activities and some light physical activities such as walking tours and optional hikes on Isla Palenque. Guests should be comfortable with moderate walking on uneven terrain, especially in Casco Antiguo and during the island excursions. Most activiteis are flexible, and your host can suggest alternative options to suit different levels of mobility.
Yes, both Hotel La Compania and Isla Palenque offer Wi-Fi, though connectivity on Isla Palenque may be limited in some areas of the island. The trip is designed to immerse you in the experience, so we encourage you to enjoy a digital detox if possible, though basic connectivity is available for essential needs.
Breakfast is included daily, along with select lunches and dinners during excursions. We’re happy to accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options. Please let us know in advance, so we can make arrangements with the dining venues.
The U.S. dollar is widely accepted in Panama, and many places accept major credit cards. We recommend carrying some cash for smaller vendors, especially when visiting local markets. ATMs are readily available in Panama City, though they may be limited on Isla Palenque.
